Army car gutted

NEW DELHI: An Ambassador car belonging to the Army suddenly caught fire at Dhaula Kuan here on Delhi-Gurgaon Road on Saturday. The car driver escaped unhurt.

The incident took place around 11-30 a.m. Driver Chandra Prakash applied the brakes and got off the vehicle soon after he noticed fumes emanating from the car. Soon after, the car caught fire and got engulfed in flames. A fire tender was pressed into service to douse the blaze but the car was completely gutted.
