Congress hopeful on Cantonment polls

NEW DELHI: Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee president Jai Prakash Agarwal on Saturday said his party would sweep the upcoming Delhi Cantonment Board elections by winning all the seats in the eight wards.

Mr. Agarwal attributed all the development work in Delhi Cantonment to efforts made by the Congress.

Addressing public meetings in different parts of Delhi Cantonment, he said Bharatiya Janata Party leaders were only indulging in verbal rhetoric and were not serious about addressing the problems faced by the locals.
