No headway in murder case
Staff Reporter
NEW DELHI: The police are yet to make a breakthrough in the case pertaining to an 18-year-old boy who was found dead in his house at Lodhi Colony here on Friday. Involvement of someone known to the deceased is suspected.
The police are trying to trace the car in which the assailant(s) fled after killing Sanchit Sachdeva, who had recently appeared at his Class XII board examinations. They are also trying to zero in on the culprits through technical surveillance.
The tragic murder came to light around 5-30 p.m. when Preeti Sachdeva, a government employee, returned home and found the body of her son Sanchit lying in a pool of blood.
