Adivasis to take out Secretariat march

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Adivasis participating in the Chengara land struggle will take out a ‘Memorial March’ to the Secretariat on May 26 in protest against the ‘vindictive’ measures being taken by the government against them, Adivasi-Dalit leaders said here on Saturday. At a press conference, K. Geethanandan and leaders of various Dalit-Adivasi organisations said the government had imposed a virtual blockade at the site of the agitation, preventing supply of food to the agitationists and entry of mediapersons to the area.
