80-year-old completes MA

NEW DELHI: Eighty-three-year-old Dinesh Chandra Gupta of Paschim Vihar has completed his M.A. in Hindi from Indira Gandhi National Open University this year. He is one of the oldest students of IGNOU, according to Srikant Mohapatra, Registrar of the Student Registration and Evaluation Division of the University. Mr. Gupta, who has written ten books, will be awarded the degree at the forthcoming convocation of the University.
