Expelled

Bangalore: The Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee has announced expulsion of four rebels from the party’s primary membership for six years. According to a press release from the party office here on Sunday, K.M. Ibrahim of Buntwal, K. Gangadhar Gowda of Belthangady, Nalini Lokappa Gowda of Puttur and S.V. Amin of Surathkal have been expelled. The release stated that they had contested against the official party candidates and had been involved in anti-party activities. — Special Correspondent
