Six killed in accident

HAVERI : Six persons were killed on the spot and two persons were injured when a truck overturned while negotiating a turn at Hebiggonda in Byadagi taluk in Haveri district on Sunday night. The victims are yet to be identified.

According to Superintendent of Police Nanjundaswamy, the accident occurred around 9.45 p.m.

The injured have been admitted to the Haveri District Hospital. — Staff Correspondent
