MADURAI: Employees of the Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation (Madurai Division) were disbursed wage arrears along with their April salary. According to an official release issued by the TNSTC Managing Director, N. Vijayarajan, arrears to the tune of Rs.17 crore in five zones were disbursed to employees. The arrears ranged between Rs.7,000 and Rs.10,000 per employee. The new wage settlement took effect from September 1, 2007, the release added.
