JVV holds meet

Jana Vignana Vedika on Sunday organised a meeting to condemn the remarks made by US President George Bush against Indians’ food habits. Several speakers who participated in the meeting said the remarks smacked of the US’ “imperialistic” attitude towards developing nations. Some activists read poems lampooning Mr. Bush.
