Race course employee murdered

P. Srinivas, 25, was found murdered on the railway tracks near his residence at Chaderghat on Sunday. He was working as a ticket clerk in Malakpet Race Course. Police said the victim’s friends attacked him with knives after a heated argument over a trivial issue on Saturday night and killed him.

School student killed

A sixth-standard student died after he was run over by a train between Hi-Tech city and Borabanda railway stations on Saturday. K. Naveen Kumar, 13, a resident of Bharathnagar, was crossing the tracks when the incident occurred, according to the police.
