Work on underpass begins

Bangalore: With the construction of an underpass at the BDA junction nearing completion, the Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) has commenced construction of another underpass at the CBI junction on Bellary Road.

Meanwhile, an underpass being built for light motor vehicles to reach Sankey Road from Cunningham Cross near Hotel Le Meridian is also nearing completion.

Through this three-metre wide underpass vehicles can join Sankey Road without obstructing the traffic on the main road, said a BBMP engineer.
