Students can interact with an eminent panel of speakers Registration for the programme is free HUBLI: The Hindu EducationPlus is organising “CET Pre-Counselling Guidance Session” for students seeking admission to professional courses, in Hubli on Tuesday. The programme will provide an opportunity for students to interact with an eminent panel of speakers from the field of education. It will give students an insight into what courses to opt for, career prospects and admission procedures. The Hindu is organising the guidance programme for the fourth year in Hubli. The programme will be held at Sawai Gandharva Hall at Deshpande Nagar, commencing at 10 a.m. Those who have already registered for the programme are requested to be present at the venue by 9.45 a.m. Free registrationThose who have not registered yet have been requested to be present at the venue by 9 a.m. There is no registration fee. PanelistsThe panelists for the session will be Sudheendra Rao, Director/Principal, SDM College of Medical Sciences and Hospital, Dharwad (Engineering); Mallikarjun Desai, Director of Karnataka Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS), Hubli (Medical Sciences); Girish P. Nagarale, Assistant Professor, Department of Periodontics, SDM College of Dental Sciences and Hospital, Dharwad (Dental Sciences), and Jitendra Nayak, Architect and Lecturer, Department of Architecture, BVB College of Engineering and Technology, Hubli (Architecture). There will be an interaction session as part of the programme to enable the students and their parents to put forward their queries and clarify their doubts with regard to professional courses. A booklet “The Hindu Education Plus Career Guide-2008” will be given to those who register for the programme.
