Cash awards given to district toppers

Krishnagiri: District Revenue Officer and Collector-in-charge C. Nagarajan distributed cash awards to district toppers in the Plus Two examinations held this year at a function organised at the Collectorate on Monday.

P. Ramya of Sri Vidya Mandir HSS, Uthangarai, who stood first with a score of 1,176 out of 1,200 received Rs.3,000. R. Navaudayam and E. Ramkumar of Sri Vidya Mandir HSS, Uthangarai who shared the second position with 1,174 out of 1,200 got Rs.2,000 each.

M. Mahalakshmi of Sri Vidya Mandir HSS, Uthangarai received Rs.1,000.

Mr. Nagarajan also distributed cash awards to students of government schools who secured the first three ranks in the Plus Two examinations.
