GULBARGA: Voters of Gulbarga South were in for a surprise on Monday. Seers of two Veerashaiva maths came to their houses asking them to exercise their franchise. Prema Swamirao of Vidyanagar was surprised to see Sri Mahanta Shivacharyaru of Sulpul Math and Sri Rajasekhara Shivacharyaru of Chowdapur Hiremath. They were accompanied by former president of Sahitya Parishat Lakshma-nrao Gogi; Shivaraj Patil, professor; and Vijaykumar Tegaltippi. They told her about her right to vote and how her vote would change her destiny. — Special Correspondent
