SAIL inks MoU with BEML

NEW DELHI: Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) on Monday inked a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Bharat Earth Movers Limited (BEML) for the supply of crucial equipment required for the steel major’s current operations as well as its ongoing modernisation and expansion programme. The MoU, according to an official release here, was signed by SAIL Director (Technical) V. K. Gulhati, and BEML Director (Mining & Construction), M. Poongavanam, in the presence of the Chairman-cum-Managing Director of BEML, V. S. Natrajan, in Bangalore. — Special Correspondent
