Aravindhan stars for RVM

THANJAVUR: S. Aravindhan’s half-century was the highlight of RVM CC’s 17-run win over Appu CC in a Canara Bank–Thanjavur DCA first division league cricket match here.

The scores: First division:

TUK Arts College 168 for six in 35 overs (Kalyanasundaram 41) bt Thanjavur Medical College 140 for nine in 35 overs (Muralidharan 40).

RVM CC 167 for six in 35 overs (S. Aravindhan 60) bt Appu CC 150 for six in 35 overs (B. Balakarthi 58).

KK Computers CC 170 in 30 overs (Siva 40) lost to ICG CC 171 for nine in 29.3 overs (Saminathan 40).

Appu CC 136 for nine in 30 overs (B. Balakarthi 57) lost to Challengers CC 137 for four in 26.2 overs (Suresh 46).

MMS CC 143 in 30 overs lost to TUK Arts College 146 for three in 20.2 overs (Prabhu 58, Kalyanasundaram 42).

Second division:

Don Bosco School 109 in 20 overs lost to Blackson CC 110 for six in 18.3 overs (Rajan 40).

V CC 146 in 20 overs (Sridhar 43) bt Blackson CC 141 in 19.5 overs (Anand four for 38).
