Six AIIMS employees suspended

NEW DELHI: The All-India Institute of Medical Sciences here has suspended six employees and removed two others hired from a private agency after a television channel alleged pilferage from the Institute’s main kitchen.

AIIMS spokesperson Y.K. Gupta said: “After the report, an inquiry committee was constituted to look into the matter. Pending the final report, disciplinary proceeding have been initiated. We have suspended six people and two others who were hired from a private agency. An FIR has been lodged.”
