NDPL claims to have reduced AT&C losses
Staff Reporter
NEW DELHI: North Delhi Power Limited on Monday claimed that it had brought down the aggregate technical and commercial and theft losses in North Delhi and North-West Delhi to 18.5 per cent.
The company’s AT&C and theft percentage was 23.8 per cent at the beginning of the year.
“We have successfully reduced the AT&C losses by more than 65 per cent since takeover in July 2002 from an opening loss level of 53 per cent. Sustaining the present level itself is a challenge.”
“This achievement can be credited to a determined approach towards stringent checks for combating power theft and increasing operational and technical efficiency,” said NDPL Chief Executive Officer Sunil Wadhwa.
