‘Mahatma Hansraj’ award for principal

CUTTACK: For meritorious service in the field of education during last 20 years, L.N. Pradhan, principal of DAV public school here has been awarded as the ‘Best Principal’ by DAV college management committee and won the “Mahatma Hansraj’ award in New Delhi on May 9.

For his achievement, Mr. Pradhan was felicitated here at a glittering function in the school premises on Monday by the eminent citizens of the city.

Attending the felicitation ceremony as chief guest Mr. Justice I.M. Quddusi of Orissa High Court congratulated Mr. Pradhan and said the Cuttack school would achieve many more laurels under the leadership of Mr. Pradhan.

Among others, the DAV management committee treasurer Mr. Ravindra Kumar, and regional director Himanshu K. Mohanty said the contributions made by Mr. Pradhan towards school education is commendable and noteworthy.
