Press Club office-bearers

Thiruvananthapuram: K.Sreekantan of Deshabhimani was elected president of the Thiruvananthapuram Press Club for 2008-09. The other office-bearers are Sanu Vargheese George (IANS), vice-president; M.V. Giresh Kumar (PTI), secretary; N.V. Balakrishnan (Kairali TV), joint secretary; and C.S. Biju (Madhyamam), treasurer. The following are the managing committee members: R. Ashok (Kerala Kaumudi); K. Gopakumar (Chandrika); K.B. Jayachandran (Veekshanam); Kallampally Krishnan Nair (Chandrika); R. Pradeep (Janmabhumi); and C.E. Vasudeva Sarma (Mathrubhumi). V. Sheena (Kerala Kaumudi) is the welfare committee member.
