State u-11 chess from May 25

CHENNAI: The Krishnagiri District Chess Association will be organising the 21st State under-11 championship for boys and girls for the Dolphin Trophies at Adhiyamaan College of Engineering, Dr. M.G.R. Nagar, Hosur, Krishnagiri district, from May 25 to 31.

The total prize fund is Rs. 13,000. Each district can send two players for each category. Players should have been born on or after January 1, 1997.

Leading players from all over Tamil Nadu are expected to participate in this prestigious championship.

The Tamil Nadu team for the National championship in Ahmedabad will be selected during the tournament.
