Honouring the gift of lifeblood

Thiruvananthapuram: The World Blood Donor Day celebrations in the city this year will be marked by a function to recognise the contribution of regular donors. The function will be held on June 14 under the auspices of Terumo Penpol, State Bank of India, State NSS Cell and Club 25 to create wider awareness on the need for safe blood for transfusions and to thank blood donors for their gift of blood.
