New gas pipeline for prisoners

NEW DELHI: The Delhi Prisons Administration in association with Indraprastha Gas Limited has introduced a new gas pipeline for cooking food for prisoners.

In the first phase that was inaugurated by Delhi Government’s Principal Secretary (Home) G. S. Patnaik on Tuesday, piped natural gas would be supplied to jail No. 2. This is expected to cater to the food needs of over 1,200 prisoners.
