Muzaffarnagar: A sacked police constable was arrested after his wife was found dead under mysterious circumstances at Zank village in the district on Tuesday. Niraj Kumar was arrested and is suspected to have poisoned Gita with the help of his family members over dowry related matters, Deputy Superintendent of Police Anil Prakash Mishra said. Kumar was earlier working as a constable with Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and was dismissed from service one year ago for allegedly assaulting another personnel, he said. Police are also on the look-out for Kumar’s father and mother, who are absconding.
