Addressing a public rally at Angul, Mr Gandhi said, “companies like NALCO should be encouraged to grow without making it a private entity.” The AICC general secretary spoke at the meeting, which was organised to thank him in the wake of NALCO getting the Navaratna status. “The rally has been organised to thank me. But I have not done anything. If anybody is to be thanked, it is employees of PSU, who made it possible by their hard work,” he said. In-charge of Orissa affairs Ajay Maken spoke.
