KOLLAM: The Quilon Management Association (QMA) is conducting higher education counselling and an exhibition at the CSI Convention Centre here on May 17 and 18. QMA president S. Ratnakumar told presspersons here on Tuesday that the exhibition would be inaugurated by CUSAT Syndicate member P.O.J. Lebba on May 17. The counselling session would be inaugurated by Minister for Water Resources N.K. Premachandran. Mr. Ratnakumar said that the programme, christened ‘Edufair ‘08,’ would help students and parents take the appropriate decision while selecting suitable courses for higher education. He said it would also be an opportunity for students to listen to professionals from abroad sharing their experiences. The counselling faculty included C.R. Soman, chairman of Health Action by People; G. Vijayaraghavan, former CEO of Technopark; V. Rajeevan, director of Kerala Institute of Tourism and Travel Studies; T.G. Vijayakumar, former Joint Commissioner (Entrance); S. Ziauddin, Principal of TKM College of Engineering; K. Sankaran, Principal of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham; V. Suresh, former Principal of Sree Buddha College of Engineering; S. Suresh Babu, former Principal of TKM Institute of Technology; architect N. Ramaswamy; B. Ajayakumar from the Lourde Mata College of Science and Technology; and Samuel T. Mathew, vocational rehabilitation counsellor from Indiana, U.S.
