Congress submits complaint

Bangalore: The Congress submitted a complaint to Chief Electoral Officer M.N. Vidyashanakar on Tuesday seeking action against BJP leader B.S. Yeddyurappa. The complaint said Mr. Yeddyurappa in his speech in Koppal said “the BJP is the party of Sri Rama” and “the Congress and the Janata Dal (S) are parties of Ravana”, exploiting the religious sentiments of the people. The office of the Chief Electoral Officer here said the complaint had been despatched to the Election Commission for appropriate action.
