Campaign for second phase ends today

BANGALORE: Campaigning for the second phase of elections in 66 Assembly constituencies in 10 districts will conclude at 5 p.m. on Wednesday.

As many as 590 candidates, including 218 independents, are in the fray in the second phase scheduled on Friday. There are over 1.10 crore voters in Raichur, Koppal, Uttara Kannada, Bellary, Chitradurga, Davangere, Shimoga, Udupi, Chikmagalur and Dakshina Kannada districts going to the polls. — Special Correspondent
