DHARAMSALA: To boost tourism in Himachal Pradesh, a new air service between Delhi and Dharamsala via Chandigarh has been launched. It is operated by the low-cost airline MDLR. The inaugural flight landed at Gagal airport here at around 3-30 p.m. on Monday. MDLR Airlines Executive Director M. Dhar said the 70-seater flight would operate on all weekdays except Sunday. The fare for the first 15 days would be Rs.1,857, he said. Earlier, Deccan Airlines used to operate a 48-seater plane on the route. -- PTI
