Kochi: The former Additional Tahsildar, Devikulam, M.I. Raveendran, on Tuesday, informed the Kerala High Court that the signature on an application given in the name of the former Communist Party of India leader P.K. Vasudevan Nair seeking assignment of land in Munnar was forged. In an affidavit filed in a case relating to the restoration of Dhanyasree resort in Munnar, he said the declaration in the application that P.K. Vasudevan Nair did not possess any land was false. He had owned land in Perumbavoor. The false declaration was made to get land assigned to the party. The former Tahsildar said the land assigned to the party was liable to be cancelled. — Special Correspondent
