Police put on alert

Thiruvananthapuram: The State police have been put on alert following the serial blasts in Jaipur in Rajasthan on Tuesday evening. A senior official said the district superintendents of police and the city police commissioners had been asked to check railway stations and bus stands for suspicious objects. Night patrolling and checking on highways have been intensified.
