Raje speaks to Manmohan

JAIPUR: Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje spoke to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on the phone and he expressed his shock over Tuesday’s blasts.

Ms. Raje, who was away in Jodhpur during the day, reached the capital in the evening.

Ms. Raje appealed to the people to maintain the peace and communal harmony.

The former Chief Minister and Congress general secretary Ashok Gehlot also made an appeal for restraint.
