Soft skills programme for youth, graduates

HYDERABAD: An 11-day soft skills training programme for young graduates and unemployed youth was inaugurated at the Vysya hostel campus at Kachiguda by MLA K. Nageshwar on Tuesday.
The training programme, Impact-2008 is being attended by more than 600 youngsters.
Impact-2008 is being jointly organised by the Junior Chamber International (JCI) Secunderabad chapter, Vasavi Club of Greater Hyderabad and Vysya Hostel.
‘Improve edge’
Speaking after the inauguration, Dr. Nageshwar called upon the youth to improve their competitive edge to keep pace with the fast changing global scenario.
The Junior Chamber International coordinator Sravan Kumar said the participants would be trained in interview techniques, time management, human relations, health and hygiene, team building, and effective negotiation skills.
Experts
The programme moderator Gampa Nageswara Rao said B.V. Pattabhiram and Yandamoori Veerendranath are among the various experts who would be conducting the sessions.
