Sushma Swaraj focusses on inflation

BELTHANGADY: Senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader Sushma Swaraj tried to strike a chord with women electorate on the vital issue of price rise at a public function here on Tuesday.

Campaigning for K. Prabhakar Bangera, the BJP candidate for Belthangady Assembly constituency, at the Marigudi maidan, she chose to speak a few sentences in Kannada to impress the women mainly on rising prices of essential commodities. She accused the Congress and the United Progressive Alliance Government of being responsible for the price rise.

Ms. Swaraj alleged that the Congress-led UPA Government was neglecting common people.
