Heat wave claims one

Heat wave claimed a life at Penamaluru on the city outskirts on Tuesday. The victim was identified as Vangapandu Ilaiah, 45, a worker at Prabhakar Engineering Works at Chepagunti near Penamaluru. On Tuesday afternoon, Ilaiah suddenly collapsed at his workplace and died. Proprietor of the firm P. Radhakrishna suspected that he died of heat wave and lodged a complaint with the Penamaluru police. A case was registered under Section 174 (suspicious death) of the IPC.
