Trolley accident: one more worker dies

UDHAGAMANDALAM: The death toll in the recent accident involving a trolley on the Nilgiri Mountain Railway region has gone up to three. According to police, Siddique (55), undergoing treatment in Coimbatore, died on Tuesday. Two workers were killed on the spot in the accident on Sunday.

The Southern Railway Mazdoor Sangam has alleged that the trolley was carrying goods weighing one tonne, as against the permissible limit of 500 kg. — Special Correspondent
