L.G. Ramamurthi passes away

COIMBATORE: L.G. Ramamurthi (77), Chairman Emeritus of Coimbatore-based Sara Elgi Group of Companies, passed away here after a brief illness.

Mr. Ramamurthi was also associated with various trade bodies and associations, which include the Coimbatore Flying Club, Coimbatore Auto Sports Club, Coimbatore Golf Club, Coimbatore Productivity Council, Coimbatore Management Association and Travel Agents Association. He is survived by his son, Sumanth Ramamurthi, and two daughters.
