Santhosh Madhavan arrested

KOCHI: Santhosh Madhavan, alias Amruta Chaitanya, against whom the Interpol had issued a look-out notice on the charge of cheating an Indian national at Dubai, was arrested by the Kerala Police on Tuesday.

Addressing the media here, Inspector-General of Police, Ernakulam Range, Vinson M. Paul, and City Police Commissioner Manoj Abraham said the arrest was made on the basis of a complaint lodged by Serafin Edwin, a Keralite woman who works in Dubai. He has been charged with cheating under IPC 420 following a brief e-mail sent by Ms. Edwin. On being asked for more details, she mailed a detailed complaint on Tuesday.
