There are no prizes for guessing what the ‘hottest’ terms on the search engine Google, from this part of the world, were on Tuesday. They had everything to do with the SSLC exam results. Google has a way of telling us what people around the world are looking for on the Net. Information that is most sought after by people is categorised by Google, and made available in the form of a list of top search terms. Google’s Hot Trends c omes up with lists of search terms that experience a “surge in popularity”. And on Tuesday dominating the searches from India were the mass of SSLC exam result seekers. Among the cities, Kochi accounted for the maximum searches. The search activity peaked around noon. This is not an unusual as this time of the year are related to examination. T.R. Ramachandran
