Bakeries to adopt hygienic methods

Keralites have been increasingly depending on ready-to-eat food. Bakery items have been in good demand even in suburban areas. Many of the bakeries have come under an umbrella organisation, Bakers Association Kerala, and are on the path of reforming themselves. Certification for hygienic methods of preparation and getting rid of harmful colours are among the steps being ushered in. Hopefully, these steps will reflect in the health of the consumers who have been following u nhealthy food habits.
