2,532 motor vehicle cases settled

Kochi: As many as 2,532 motor vehicle law violation cases were settled on Tuesday in the two-day Lok Adalat organised by the Kerala State Legal Services Authority (KELSA).

A total penalty of Rs. 5,32,000 was also collected during the settlement .The Adalat for settling the petty cases would continue on Wednesday. The cases that were registered till December 2007 could be settled by paying a nominal amount as penalty at the Adalat, according to U. Sarathchandran, member secretary of KELSA—
