KOCHI: Club FM 94.3 has bagged three of the RAPA awards-2007, instituted by the Radio and TV Advertising Practitioners Association of India to honour outstanding creative work in radio and television. Over a thousand nominations were received from all over the country. Club FM, a venture of Mathrubhumi group, bagged an award for its station anthem, Mazhayathum Veyilathum, composed by Bijibal. Paachakarathnam Mahilamani won the top honours in the humour programme category, while Anjana of Club FM’s Thrissur station was chosen as the best female radio jockey. The awards were presented in Mumbai on Tuesday. The awardees were chosen by a panel of eminent judges from the media and entertainment sector, headed by Viresh Chadha.
