Gurdaspur: A woman has been killed in the district, allegedly by her husband and four other family members, for opposing her spouse’s “affair”, police said. The body of Manjit Kaur, a 30-year-old Tatla village resident, was discovered on Wednesday morning at her house, Deputy Superintendent of Police said here. He said the mother of three children was strangled and had marks around her neck. Police have registered a case against five persons including the husband. All the accused are absconding.
