Muzaffarnagar: Two jail wardens were suspended for negligence of duty after an undertrial prisoner committed suicide, a senior police officer said on Wednesday. According to Jail Superintendent Harish Chandra Rai, the wardens were on duty when the undertrial, Ankit, committed suicide by hanging from the ceiling on May 8. The parents alleged that their son was murdered. A magisterial inquiry has been ordered into the issue. --PTI
