NABARD support

BANGALORE: The National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) increased its assistance to banks in Karnataka to Rs. 3,346.92 crore in the financial year 2007-08, which is 30 per cent more than the previous year, according to a press release here on Wednesday from NABARD. In the previous fiscal, assistance was Rs. 2,574 crore. — Special Correspondent
