Letters to the Editor
Those who perpetrate terrorism in the name of jihad defame Islam and create problems for peace-loving Muslims all over the world. A terrorist is the enemy of not only innocent people but also religion. Irrespective of the religion we belong to we, the people, should maintain social harmony and not allow the enemies of the country to disturb our unity. Azeez Nazar Sabri, New Delhi The enemies of India want to create terror among its people. The state should hang the guilty without hesitation to create fear in the minds of those who seek to destabilise the country through acts of terror.S. Ahmad Ansari, Hyderabad The visuals of wailing women stricken with grief will remain forever etched in my memory. I plead with the merchants of death to desist from such acts of savagery. Whatever their cause or motivation, they should know that killing innocent women and children can never be justified. S.A.R. Adil, Bangalore
