Emphatic win for IA

HYDERABAD: Indian Airlines scored an emphatic 6-2 win over AC Guards XI in the A-2 Division hockey league championship at Begumpet Police Stadium here on Wednesday.

Sudhir, Yashwanth, Shahnawaz and N. Mukesh Kumar struck once each and Kranti Kumar a brace for the winner while for the loser Khaliq Bin Masood scored twice to reduce the margin.

In the B-Division league at AOC Grounds, Cross Wings defeated ECIL 3-0 with Rohit, Rammohan and Srikanth being the scorers.
