High Court fines NDMC

NEW DELHI: The Delhi High Court on Wednesday imposed a fine of Rs.5,000 on the New Delhi Municipal Council for repeatedly refusing to file a reply to a public interest litigation challenging grant of accommodation, cars and secretarial staff to non-official members of the civic body in violation of rules framed under the NDMC Act.
