Baripada: At least 40 pilgrims from Andhra Pradesh, including 22 women, were injured, when the bus by which they were travelling dashed against a tree at Budhikhamari near here on Wednesday, according to the police. The pilgrims, mostly from Anantpur district of the neighbouring state, were proceeding towards north India after visiting Puri, Konark and Bhubaneswar when the accident occurred on the National Highway No. 5. The injured were admitted to the district headquarters hospital here for treatment, the police said. –PTI
