Funds for boundary walls of schools

BERHAMPUR: The small children studying in cramped rooms of government primary schools in Ganjam district would now have some protection from stray animals and miscreants as boundary walls would be built around them

At a meeting of the monitoring committee of midday meal scheme chaired by district Collector V.K.Pandian it was declared that over Rs. 1.92 crores would be spent to build boundary walls around 3,067 schools of the district.

Funds have also been released for construction of kitchen in 1,821 schools.
